Rich with historical value, the genuine Indian Head Penny in our unusual pendant was designed by noted engraver James Longacre to celebrate Americas westward expansion and minted from 1859 to 1909. It depicts Liberty in an Indian bonnet. And appears here wreathed by turquoise hued beads set in antiqued silvertone...a design that suggests the traditional Native American style of hand worked sterling.
