London Blue Topaz -- what you get when you expose an ordinary clear topaz to radiation at a nuclear facility. It turns into a really butt ugly color, but when you heat it up a tad, the ugly goes away and youre left with the color of the ocean. Just the most awesome blue you ever saw. Im just totally in love with them.

At SylvaRocks, all of our Sterling Silver is made with a state of the art alloy which modifies the traditional Sterling Silver alloy (92.5% silver + 7.5% copper) by replacing some of the copper with the metalloid Germanium. Adding Germanium to the Sterling Silver results in a highly tarnish resistant silver. Since the resulting metal is still 92.5% pure silver, is still qualifies as Sterling Silver -- just better.
