This distinctive pocket watch has been beautifully crafted with the look of yesteryear. The front of the engraved square case houses the obverse of a genuine U.S. coin. The Buffalo Nickel was minted from 1913 to 1938 and even today remains a nostalgic favorite. Artist James Earle Fraser used a composite American Indian profile to create the noble obverse, and depicted docile bison Black Diamond, famous denizen of the Central Park Zoo, on the reverse. We use a special ink process to colorize the coin and enhance the beauty of the Buffalo Nickel. Open the watch, and the coins beautiful reverse design is visible inside the front cover. The face of the watch adds to its look of antiquity, but its quality quartz movement is strictly state-of-the-art. Includes a one-year warranty along with a Certificate of Authenticity.
