Lamar B-00286-1 Parallel Operation Regulator, 28V / Part B-00286-1 by Lamar Technologies LLC

The Lamar B-00286-1 Parallel Regulator has been FAA/PMA approved as a replacement for the following; B00296-1, B-00296-2, B-00296-3, B-00301-1, B-00301-1, B00307-1, B-00343-1, and 1816100. Also approved for some Piper PA-23, PA-31 and PA-34 series aircraft.

Mount base on metallic airframe member for best heat conduction.

Provide 2 inches of air circulation space all around regulator.

This unit becomes hot in normal operation. Install where casual crew or passenger contact is not possible.

Will maintain alternator field voltages within 0.5V of equal when alternators are loaded 25% or more of full load. Output voltage is determined by regulator set to the higher voltage.

Regulator systems, left and right, are independent of each other except for the parallel connection. Parallel connection will not cause a failure of one system to disable the good system.
