Rainbow moonstone is sort of hard to describe; A pretty, translucent stone. Its actually not a moonstone at all, but a Labradorite Feldspar. It throws a light blue to light yellow sheen. Typically, it is never "clean", by ordinary standards -- there are all sorts of veils, inclusions and stuff (like that technical term?) that gives it its character.

It really is a very pretty stone. Most of the time, its not clear enough or clean enough to facet, but the material we have is, and it looks great.. We think these are some of the best weve ever seen.

In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and its well mounted in this gold ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it.

The sides have a nice wide filigree pattern, allowing the stone to stand on its own merits.

This ring just "feels" good, and looks great! It is low domed, and wont hang up in your jeans pockets. Its just simply a pretty, and a comfy ring.
